Laws Don’t Apply to the Wealthy

We’ve never seen this kind of wealth in the White House, and so traditional rules don’t work. We’re going to have to think up a whole new approach.

In the case of the president, he has a broad ability to organize the White House the way he wants to. He also has, frankly, the power of the pardon. It’s a totally open power. He could simply say, ‘Look, I want them to be my advisers. I pardon them if anyone finds them to have behaved against the rules. Period. Technically, under the Constitution, he has that level of authority.

Alex Jones on Race

The media has made everything racial. It’s John Lewis that went out in the arena. It’s John Lewis that went out in a public place and shot his mouth off. It’s John Lewis that defamed somebody with no proof and some made-up “pee pee gate” dossier. And then in this upside down social justice warrior snowflake world, Trump’s bad because he responds, and that’s an attack. No, John Lewis attacked Donald Trump. The congressman attacked the president, the president nicely responded, and then they made a big deal out of it. I mean it just shows it’s the craziest crap. They must think the viewers and listeners are dumb, but they’re not. It’s why CNN and others don’t have any audience, why The New York Times is collapsing, because people have common sense. They’re like, “John Lewis attacked Donald Trump, Donald Trump said ‘Hey work with me, this isn’t constructive,’ that’s not even an attack and then they say that he attacked him first.” I mean it’s lies on top of lies on top of lies on top of lies. So I put out an article, a report entitled John Lewis is a lying pile of garbage using Trump’s term for BuzzFeed. And it’s true. These are all just lying piles of garbage. I don’t care what color they are. But the media covering for John Lewis is a lying pile of garbage. They’re all going bankrupt, nobody reads them, nobody likes them so that’s what you call a pile of garbage. I’m just calling it like it is.

Hillary’s Health

I actually feel quite sorry for Hillary Clinton as a person because I see someone who is eaten alive by their ambitions, tormented literally to the point where they become sick; they faint as a result of [the reaction] to their ambitions. She represents a whole network of people and a network of relationships with particular states. The question is how does Hillary Clinton fit in this broader network? She’s a centralising cog. You’ve got a lot of different gears in operation from the big banks like Goldman Sachs and major elements of Wall Street, and Intelligence and people in the State Department and the Saudis.

Lock Him Up

PRIEST: Tell me about the RT [state-run Russian Television] relationship?

FLYNN: I was asked by my speaker’s bureau, LAI. I do public speaking. It was in Russia. It was a paid speaking opportunity. I get paid so much. The speaker’s bureau got paid so much, based on our contract.

PRIEST: Can you tell me how much you got for that?

FLYNN: No.

PRIEST: No? Because you don’t want to get your fees out there?

FLYNN: Yeah, I don’t.

But They Did Stand It

Apparently there’s yet a new standard now, which is to not confirm a Supreme Court candidate at all. I think that’s something the American people simply will not tolerate.

– Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, January 6, 2017, after almost a full year of his own refusal to nominate Barrack Obama’s Supreme Court candidate
